Description of Event:
This event is a hybrid of three themes: popcorn, pirates and fire prevention with the purpose being to promote awareness of fire prevention and raise funds for the fire department. Festivities include a parade, Popcorn King Contest, a Kernel Queen Contest, various carnival activities, musicians, artists and vendor booths. Special events will be held throughout the festival which will include pirate reenactments, fire prevention demonstrations, corn husking events, popcorn challenges and more. Hours: Friday, September 20, 2013 3pm - 9pm; Saturday, September 21, 2013, 8am - 9pmInformation:
