Description of Event:
The Maryland Renaissance Festival will be held on September 18-19, 2021. This 16th century English Renaissance Festival is held in a 25 acre English village featuring live shows on multiple stages, armored jousting and streets filled with village characters. It will host over 100 artisans and craft vendors, food vendors, speciality vendors and game vendors. Watch demonstrations of period skills by the craftspeople. They will showcase and sell their crafts in mediums like metal work, wood sculpture, jewelry, furniture, clothing, footwear, ceramics, glassblowing, headwear, garden art, engraving, tapestries, blacksmithing, and many more. It will include music, dance, games of skill, juggling, comedy shows, magic, kid's shows, festival food, and more. This festival will run Saturdays and Sundays and Labor Day Monday from August 28 through October 24 for nine weekends of thrills, feasting, handmade crafts, entertainment and merriment.
