Description of Event:
Sarasota Weekend Medieval Fair will be held on November 30 - December 1, 2024. This event is a recreation of a medieval era village with festive performers, crafts, demonstrations, games, rides, and food. Step back in time and watch full-contact jousting, human combat chess tournaments and live shows on 13 stages. There will be games, rides, heroic knights, lane performers, merchants, artists, majesty and madness of knights, minstrels, wenches, jesters, sword swingers and belly dancers, Celtic music, and much more. The artisan marketplace will have some of finest and most talented artisans and artists selling ther wares. Attend craft skill demonstrations including blacksmithing, jewelry work, wood carving, leather work, frawing, pottery, basket weaving, and more. Feast on turkey legs and hearty ales at the English pubs. This fair will be held on consecutive weekends from Nov. 2 thru Dec. 1, 2024 plus Veterans Monday, Nov. 11. Hours: 10am-5:30pm both days
