Description of Event:
Burton Cotton Gin Festival will be held on April 26th, 2025. It will feature a parade, arts and crafts vendors, food court, live music, two step dance classes, fun contests and games, and tractor, engine, and classic cars on display. Also watch Folklife skills demonstrations like blacksmithing, butter churning, spoon carving, and more. Take tours of the burton farmers gin from 11am to 2pm. At 3pm, the oldest operating cotton gin in America will come to life, and a bale of cotton will be ginned.
