Join us for the Kids' Parade on Sunday, July 3rd at 1:00 p.m. Entry forms below are for children in Junior High School and below. Come in Red/White/and Blue. Decorate your bikes, wagons, yourselves and your pets. Kick off this 4th of July in Westcliffe and Silver Cliff, Colorado with a parade down main street. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. 4th of July weekend is all about picnics, sing-a-longs and fireworks. The Wet Mountain Valley has all of this and more. In the cool of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, you can browse through the over 40 vendors at the Flea Market. The Market is open Saturday from 9am – 3pm, and Sunday from 9am – 2pm at the west end of Main St. in Westcliffe. In conjunction with the flea market, on July 4th this year the Chamber of Commerce is adding its Annual Sangre de Cristo Car Show. Cars will line Main Street for your inspection. Then from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. the annual Ice Cream Social and Patriotic sing-a-long will take place in the historic Old Westcliffe Schoolhouse. Also, our local restaurants are all available with a variety of menus to satisfy your summer appetites. Shopping, hiking, fishing are just a few of the activities available to fill the hours till dusk, when the fireworks begin. Hours: 9am to 3pm all daysInformation:
