More than 25,000 Attendees Gather to See Main Street Maple Grove
Transform Into a Canvas of Chalk Art Creations
Chalkfest Maple Grove is a free, 2-day street art festival with entertainment, food, and family fun, sponsored by Experience Maple Grove and Kimco Realty.
Chalkfest will feature sidewalk chalk art by more than 40 professionals, amateurs and art enthusiasts from around the world and as far away as Mexico, Ukraine and Colombia. Main Street Maple Grove is transformed into a street art gallery open for public viewing. Don’t forget to snap a photo on one of the 3D art pieces! Talk about amazing selfies! There are also public chalking areas and mandalas or circles with repeating symmetrical shapes which are considered a sacred symbol and allow for endless color and creativity for spectators of all ages.
Chalkfest Maple Grove will also feature a live music stage, OMNI Brewing Beer Garden and an expanded area within the festival, located one block north of Arbor Lakes Parkway, which will offer a NEW Kids Zone as well as artists, vendors, food and more.
Winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9th. Art will be open for viewing through Monday, June 10.
