Description of Event:
The festival is a free, family friendly event featuring live music by Prettier Than Matt, an arts and craft fair, outdoor games, inflatables, and more.
Pimento cheese sample tasting from various pimento cheese vendors and food trucks will be available with a $5 tasting ticket (online tickets available for purchase).
Attendees will enjoy a wide selection of pimento cheese creations by local food trucks, desserts and refreshing beverages at the festival.
There will be an amateur cook pimento cheese competition (judging will be the week of the festival) for those who believe they have an award-winning pimento cheese recipe.
The festival will be at Saluda Shoals Park on the Leo’s Landing side, 6071 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212 (enter between Aldi & Wendy’s) and parking will be $5 per car. Festival is rain or shine.
