Teacher working and living in Cairo, Egypt. I purchase handicrafts made by disenfranchised women in the third world and bring them to the United States; tourism is at an all time low here, and craftspeople are suffering from lack of sales. Additionally, I have made it my mission to decrease the amount of garbage I throw out - there is no infrastructure for garbage removal here outside local entrepreneurs. I have developed many crafts products made from garbage and bring them to you - specifically beads from water bottles. Beyond that, I am a self-published author and sell my books at craft fairs in the United States during my summer vacations.
