Erica Nicole is a girl from Georgia who loves Country Music – and wants to sing it. . . Growing up, singing in school plays and with a microphone hooked up to some speakers, Erica would imagine she was on stage singing her heart out to audiences everywhere. Her parents, Eric and Betty, instilled in her a strong love of music. They helped her reach for the dream and have been her best friends as she moves ahead on her musical path. Recently, she met famed vocal coach Nate Lam, who has worked with her to develop her God given natural abilities. Erica is dedicated to being the best she can be – and isn’t afraid to work for it. She loves Reba, Strait, Dolly, the Opry, Nashville, the Ryman, grits, honky tonks and songs about standing by your man – as well as being a genuine southern girl. She likes college sports. She likes professional sports. Matter of fact - she really likes sports. Now there’s a country girl. . . ! Erica released her first album with some of the best musicians in the world. She’s excited about her music and is has been on the road promoting that self-titled debut album. Over the last 4 months, Erica has been visiting radio stations nationwide. Her current single, “Shave” is going for radio adds and has broken the top 80 on Music Row. She’s been showcasing and performing nationally including SXSW in Austin, The Big D Opry at Gilley’s in Dallas, Atlanta, San Diego, etc. She’s recently opened a pre-show for Miranda Lambert and performed with John Cafferty and Tommy Cash. Her songs have been featured in films such as “Small Town Saturday Night” (Chris Pine) and “Too Late To Say Goodbye (Rob Lowe). She was at CRS in Nashville – meeting folks and doing interviews – visiting stations - - and performing! She is excited to perform at CRS 2012 in Nashville. She recently performed at the lighting of the Macy’s Christmas Tree in Atlanta! It seems only yesterday she was that little girl with the mic. So much as happened and the race is far from finished – but big dreams and hard work are soon to pay off.
