My Fabric Art Paintings are bright and colorful, bringing a smile to your face. Working from my studio on the second floor of my husband’s and my 130 -year-old farm house in a rural area of North Carolina formally known as Hobbsville, I continually draw inspiration from my surroundings. For more than 49 years I’ve found that fabric - whether new, old, or rare - speaks to me, beckoning me to bring out its beauty in unique ways. My art is displayed at the Chowan Arts Council Gallery in Edenton North Carolina, as well as in many quality art and craft shows throughout the state.
